Statuario Caldia®, Calacatta Caldia®, Cal'dor®
Rocchetta
In the world's most important marble basin, it is a prized material quarried at its own quarry located in Rocchetta, in the Apuan Alps district. The main characteristics of this material are a very pure ground and fine veining from mint green to gray to brown; what makes Caldia® even more peculiar is the wide range of types that originate based on these streaks, starting with the Statuario variety, with delicate gray veins, and ending with another, equally valuable, characterized by brown and mint green veins or an intricate pattern of ovate veins, Calacatta.
The high degree of sophistication of Caldia® marble makes it an ideal choice for any luxury cladding, whether for a lobby, an elegant bathroom, or a boutique; thanks to the extreme purity of the very special crystalline white background, this fine marble is capable of giving any environment an unparalleled luminosity, whether in the polished or honed variant. The stunning results in both outdoor and indoor environments can be seen in some of our most recent projects such as the lobby of 7 Bryant Park (Grand Pinnacle Award 2019) and One Legacy West (Design Awards 2018), 1290 Avenue of the Americas, WTC West Concourse and the apartment bathrooms at 18 Gramercy Park.
