Aesthetically precious, structurally compact and durable, and very fine-grained, Botticino Classico® is a marble as unique and unmistakable as its area of origin.
It is mined exclusively from the marble basin east of Brescia, in the territory bounded by the boundaries of the Botticino municipality, in a technologically advanced production environment, attentive to modern development guidelines and constant quality control.
Variegated colors in shades of beige create a fascinating surface in terms of refinement and brightness and give personality to this material, perfect for projects with a classic and traditional character.
The exceptional chemical and physical characteristics of Botticino Classico® determine its almost unlimited application versatility in architectural and artistic achievements. It is suitable for exterior cladding because of its resistance to frost, temperature changes and impact; polished, it reveals surprising color effects in interior environments; sculpted, it creates a grandiose monumental impact.
We therefore find it an international protagonist of prestigious contemporary architectural works and events of worldwide resonance. Among the many historical evidences of its structural and ornamental use are the Capitoline Temple, a masterpiece of the ancient Roman forum, the grand medieval basement of the Broletto Tower, and two jewels of the Renaissance: the Palazzo della Loggia and the sculpted facade of Santa Maria dei Miracoli in Brescia. In more recent times Botticino marble has been used in the construction of theAltar of the Fatherland in Rome, the White House in Washington, the Statue of Liberty, and New York's Central Station. Works that make it famous in Italy and around the world.
