Two internationally known and appreciated excellences of the Made in Italystone industry inaugurate a strategy of mutual cooperation and business development in markets around the world.
They are MARMI GHIRARDI, a company from Brescia that celebrates its 85th anniversary in 2023, and MGI - MARMI E GRANITI D'ITALIA, a company from Massa Carrara that has also reached the brilliant threshold of 75 years in business.
The stage and opportunity to kick off this collaboration is the STONE & SURFACE SAUDI ARABIA, a trade fair of particular relevance being held in Riyadh from February 18 to 21, 2023, for which ICE-Agency for Promotion Abroad and Confindustria Marmomacchine have gathered an important delegation of Italian companies.
The attention paid to a market of strong interest such as Saudi Arabia, which is expanding but with potential yet to be developed, unites the vision of the two Italian companies, attentive to commercially interesting realities but aware that the approach should and must always be under the banner of quality, a distinctive trait of Made in Italy.
MARMI GHIRARDI, which specializes in the creation of high-profile natural stone projects, and MGI, with its strong expertise in the extraction and processing of natural stone, are also united by the fact that they both belong to the PNA Consortium - Pietra Naturale Autentica, to which they recently signed the "Naturally Sustainable" manifesto, a decalogue that precisely states objectives and commitments for the promotion and protection of marble from an ecological and sustainable perspective.
"Environmental and social sustainability, reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, moving toward responsible production and recovering processing waste" These are the key issues indicated by Paolo Agonigi, CEO of MGI, echoed by Stefano Ghirardi, CEO of Marmi Ghirardi and President of PNA: "The defense of the quality of natural stone, together with its protection from a sustainable point of view, are the essential starting point for companies that want to face international markets today, strong in a stainless tradition but also aware that Made in Italy is a value that must be demonstrated and confirmed in the field every day."
The collaboration strategy between the two Italian companies envisages other joint operations and co-marketing in the coming months, under the banner of a synergy that is not ephemeral but, on the contrary, strong on some widely shared cornerstones: enhancing the preservation of made-in-Italy marble, realizing high-profile stone projects, and signing new commercial agreements on the most interesting international markets.
