MGI participates with the Italian Collective promoted by Agenzia ICE at the 44th JAPAN HOME&BUILDING SHOW at the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition center. Therefore, the initiative dedicated to the international promotion of Italian excellence in the construction sector is back: as usual, the largest exhibition of the construction and residential industry will take place in Tokyo. With more than 40 years of history, in the last edition held in a context still characterized by the closure of the country's borders, it was attended by about 10,000 visitors in three days, an audience of insiders who every year take part in the initiative to get in touch with Companies that represent excellence in the Italian panorama of materials suitable for the construction of new buildings, renovation or simply the renovation of environments.
The primary objective being set is to promote and support the excellence, quality andinnovation of MGI's stone production in the Japanese market, due to the importance and desirability of the Japanese market for exports, fostering increased business opportunities with the most influential local players. An important occasion in which to reaffirm the Group's key values: 100% made in Italy, proprietary quarries, over 70 years of history, and, today more than ever, technology and digitalization.
In space E5-C07-13 within the area dedicated to theEmbassy of Italy - Trade Promotion Section, MGI aspires to make people imagine a new future for natural stone with materials extracted and processed in-house: from the precious and unmistakable Caldia® to the Apuan classics (Bianco Carrara, Lapys Grey®, Bardiglio Nuvolato), and then the resistant Perlato Sicilia Cofano® and the renowned Botticino Classico®). Marbles suitable for making a wide range of coverings in which each slab creates a unique and unrepeatable effect.
In addition, for the first time, MGI is offering a preview of the Oculus/Meta Quest 2 visor to overcome traditional space-time limitations and experience a fascinating journey into the Proprietary Quarries where these materials are mined. Thanks to immersive technology, it will be possible to take a virtual tour of Carrara's beautiful basins.
"In Japan, numerous projects are underway to renovate existing buildings with solutions that favor the use of eco-sustainable materials. Joining JAPAN HOME&BUILDING SHOW therefore means taking part in Japan's largest exhibition of a sector in wide growth by offering one of the most interesting ranges of prestigious Italian marbles, quarried in its own quarries, from North to South Italy. With this initiative we continue our international development in a country, Japan, among our most significant partners," says Paolo Agonigi, CEO.
