After nearly 15 years, the "Women of Marble" leave Verona to move to the headquarters of Confindustria Livorno Massa Carrara.
New look and change of course with the new president, Sara Vannucci, the new board of directors, and the intervention on the website www.ledonnedelmarmo.it, which reports in the various sections on organized activities and sponsored events; collaborations with agencies, associations, and international trade fair events.
We are talking about an association that has been organizing, promoting and coordinating activities and projects since 2006 (the year it was founded) that enhance the cultural, social and artistic meanings born from the encounter between marble and women. This is how the president of Confindustria Livorno Massa Carrara, Matteo Venturi, comments, "This move is an important signal for the territory, which is confirmed as a center of entrepreneurial attraction. Having the "Women of Marble," in addition to being a great sign of confidence in us, represents a strengthening of the associative fabric, which is thus enriched with a prestigious reality with which to work and expand our field of action. The marble sector," Venturi continued, "has always had a very strong female presence that has always made a fundamental contribution to the growth and development of the sector. This new collaboration confirms this, and we are happy to be able to work together on new projects aimed at involving women more and more in supporting and enhancing the economic and social fabric of the area."
Appointments dedicated to the art and culture of marble in general have been promoted and will continue to be promoted to tell a cross-sectional audience about the atmosphere of the female entrepreneurial world. New collaborations have also been forged with "La Rotta dei Fenici," with "Loups Garoux Produzioni," with the trade magazines "Diamante" and "L'informatore del Marmista," with photographer Stefano Lanzardo, and new regional delegates have been appointed to support and promote the association's activities in the various territories. The association thanks Pierfrancesco Bernacchi, president of the Carlo Collodi National Foundation and Woman of Marble Award 2020, with whom it is developing a cultural project related to marble, design, sculpture and the environment, which will have international visibility.
