The lobby of 7 Bryant Park was honored with the 2019 Grand Pinnacle Award, a recognition dedicated to outstanding works in natural stone.
The winners were announced during the Natural Stone Institute Awards ceremony at TISE in Las Vegas, NV. The result of an extraordinary effort to obtain exactly the right materials and achieve the highest level of craftsmanship, the signature element of the project is the conical pattern that is repeated through the arrangement of the stone elements.
The fine Calacatta Caldia® marble makes a fine display with about 270 m2 of cut-to-size panels made for flooring and walls from 3 cm slabs; the remaining 10 m2, in 2-cm panels, were used to customize the interior of the elevators.
The uniqueness of the design, which blends different materials into different shapes with great skill, enabled this lobby to win the prestigious Grand Pinnacle Award 2019.
